Purpose of the Customer Profile 


The “Account Profile Checklist” is a tool that will help you ensure that your prospect will be a worthwhile customer. You don’t want to spend your precious time calling on a prospect only to find  at the end, that he didn’t fit your company profile in terms of deal size, market segment  or wasn’t qualified in other respects.

Think of a prospect you are calling on now. Complete the checklist below  with that prospect in mind and use it as a tool in fact finding and to identify your goals for the prospect.  If the prospect is worth your time, then you can move it along in the sales funnel and pursue it.

If you are new to sales this may sound strange whoever always remember that your job is to achieve sales and that is how you will be judged. You can spend as much time on a prospect that fails to come to fruition as one that does. You need to identify the best prospects early in the sales process so that you maximize your sales potential.
